Timber Retaining Walls
Landscape Timber Retaining Walls, can be an inexpensive alternative to Concrete, or Veneer walls.

See below for some examples of a timber wall under construction.

We dig back 5 feet and excavate the soil, to then re-install, using anchors called, "deadmen." This adds a lot of grading & labor to the process, but it builds a much stronger wall. If you build a Landscape Timber wall, without Anchors, it will likely bow out within the first few heavy rains, or upon driving vehicles along the top of it.

$15-25 dollars per square foot depending on location, machine access & height.
